VOLUNTEERS Collections and Research Division
Help keep the collections accessible to researchers by volunteering! The Museum seeks detail-oriented volunteers with an interest in natural history to work behind the scenes in caring for these unique resources. No special knowledge is required and all training is provided.
Sample Volunteer Activities:  Shell Department Sort samples Build a photo library of special collections Incorporate catalogued lots into the collection Computerize specimen holdings Prepare data for computer entry Bird Department Prepare skeletons and study skins Special conservation projects Number skeletons Re-label fluid specimens Build collections databases Hours: Anytime between 9:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Days: Monday through Friday Ready to start?
