Nature’s Mysteries
Scientists use their knowledge of the world around them to solve the mysteries of the universe.  Learn about animals in the Museum’s collection and solve a new mystery each day with your newfound knowledge.

Life at the Beach
As you dream about playing in the sand or lying on the sunny seashore, take a moment to think about all the creatures that live under the sea.  There's a lot more to life at the shore than surfboards and water ice.  Celebrate the end of this camp with a beach party with your new friends!

Project: Terra (Limited to 12 campers)
Deep inside the earth and high up in the atmosphere, there are forces waiting to break our planet apart.  Make erupting volcanoes, smash tectonic plates, pummel the land with meteors, and learn how we can preserve Terra - Earth! - for future generations.  Campers will take a field trip to Jamie and Phyllis Wyeth's Point Lookout Farm on Route 100 to enhance this camp and reinforce what they learn.  Travel cost for this trip is included in the registration fee.

Science Super Sleuths (New for 2012)
You're the detective! Find the hidden clues and sleuth your way through a week of Museum mysteries.  Go behind the scenes to some of DMNH's most secret locations and use science to discover "whodunit"!

Dinosaurs: The Rise and The Fall
Is there anything living on Earth now that was here before the dinosaurs? What kinds of animals came after? What caused the meteoric rise of dinosaurs, and why did theyl disappear? Dig up answers to these questions and more during this journey millions of years back in time.
