2011-2012 HOMESCHOOL PROGRAM The Delaware Museum of Natural History offers engaging classes about science and nature for homeschool students, supplementing parents’ lessons as part of a well-rounded education. Using an interactive, hands-on approach, our educators display specimens from the Museum’s vast scientific collections, lead special tours of the exhibits, and incorporate crafts and activities into the curriculum as students explore the natural world.Homeschool Classes are divided into two age groups that are held simultaneously: ages 6-8 and ages 9-12. Parents and guardians may attend the classes for an additional fee; those not attending must remain at the Museum for the duration of the class.
