Beer talks with Gary Monterosso

Gary Monterosso is an award-winning writer, who has written for several national and regional publications. He produces content for "Still Crazy After All These Beers" and was a regular on the Sirius Satellite Radio network.
 
Gary has appeared on a number of television shows, including the popular food show, "Let's Cook with Paul Dillon," "Your Morning on CN8," and "Good Day Philadelphia." He has been a featured guest on radio shows heard throughout the country. I
n October 2002, Gary won two national awards for writing excellence, as presented by the North American Guild of Beer Writers. He previously won one other award in 2001. In 2000, he co-founded the New Jersey Association of Beerwriters, dedicated to the promotion of quality craft beer produced in New Jersey.

He has taught classes in beer appreciation throughout southern New Jersey, Philadelphia and New York. Each year, he hosts a series of tastings and dinners for a number of charitable organizations, including the Crohn's & Colitis Foundation of America (Philadelphia/Delaware Valley Chapter) and the Mid-Atlantic Center for the Arts in Cape May, NJ, designed to promote the preservation of the city's Victorian heritage. He continues to be a featured speaker at the famous New York Bar Show where he has lectured on pairing beer with food and how to cellar selected beers.
