Art Escapades Camp

June 11 – 15

Explore all of the different elements that make up the Delaware Museum of Natural History. Spend the week making an exhibit that will go on display in the Museum for the summer.


Wilderness Explorers

**Thursday sleepover at the Museum**

June 25 – 29

Members: $280, Non-members: $315

Practice tying knots, building campfires, trying skills learned from the Lenni-Lenape, and other activities that will help you survive in the wild. Explore the outdoors and end the week by eating lunch over a campfire you built! Regular 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. schedule Monday-Wednesday; overnight on Thursday with pickup on Friday at 4 p.m.


Tough Museum Camp

July 9 – 13

Get down and dirty as you tackle the activities in this extreme camp. As a team, you’ll splash in the mud, scramble through obstacles, and face daily challenges that build strength and friendship.

What’s your favorite myth or legend? Is it Star Wars, King Arthur, or those told by the Greeks? Create and battle monsters, read ancient myths, and prepare for Friday’s heroic quest. Regular 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. schedule Monday-Wednesday; overnight on Thursday with pickup on Friday at 4 p.m.

Do you have what it takes to protect the Earth? Explore what’s happening on our planet through hands-on experiments, projects, and outdoor exploration. Try your hand at a variety of challenges to see if you really are an Eco-Warrior.


Young Engineers

July 30 – August 3

Build beyond your imagination! Learn what makes certain structures strong by building bridges, miniature landscapes, and other creations. Plus, see how architects are inspired by nature’s natural structures.


Behind the Scene Adventures

August 6 – 10

Go behind the scenes of DMNH, where all the action happens. Get up close with the Museum’s live animals and visit areas in the Museum most people don’t get to see.


Carnival Camp

August 13 – 17

Step right up and join the fun of the magnificent DMNH Carnival Camp coming to town! There will be shows, entertainment, and fun for the whole family! Join us on Friday for a mini-carnival designed and run by the campers.
