Enjoy a family friendly Saturday evening at the Museum’s after hours event! Visit our newest traveling exhibit, From Here to There, our Museum galleries, science labs with experiments, games, crafts and activities as well as our children’s Nature Nook and more. At 6 p.m., things will go dark as the Delaware Astronomical Society will lead a discussion about why we need the dark, how to mitigate light pollution and what you can do to help. Afterwards we’ll head outdoors in hopes of viewing the Fall/Winter constellations including “the great square of Pegasus” and taking a final look at the “summer triangle or navigation triangle!” Snacks, beverages (including adult beverages) will be available for purchase.
FREE for DMNH Members or with paid admission to the Museum.
Note: Animal Behavior and Conservation Connections will not be at this event as previously announced.
