DMNH books join online biodiversity library
DMNH is participating in the Expanding Access to Biodiversity Literature grant through the Biodiversity Heritage Library Through this grant, thirty-eight books from our library are being scanned by the Internet Archive. Included are five publications printed by the Museum between 1970 and 1995. The oldest book sent for scanning is from 1742. These books will be available in their entirety on the internet free of charge. Pictured here is a plate from Philippine Birds, one of the Museum’s books scanned by the Biodiversity Heritage Library.
