Jeff Bell has had a fascination with metal work almost his entire life. What started as a career in automotive repair now takes on a sense of form and creativity expressed in nature-inspired sculpture. Jeff is most at home in his Kennett Square studio fashioning railings and creating unique objects d’ art. The incorporation of stainless steel, aluminum, copper, brass, iron and wrought iron provides different textural feels to his masterpieces. He seamlessly incorporates the past and present into his art as well. Found items, such as boiler plate covers and cable wire, are combined with different metals to create truly one-of-a-kind objects. This display of Jeff’s artwork is presented in conjunction with the Museum’s summer exhibit, Extreme Deep: Mission to the Abyss, which explores the mysteries of the deep sea.
Jeff’s artwork is available for purchase, with a portion of the proceeds benefiting the Delaware Museum of Natural History.
