CONSERVATION QUEST March 10, 2012 - May 28, 2012
Energy is all around us – from the trees and plants outside, to the video games and appliances we use inside. Conservation Quest®, an interactive conservation exhibit created by Stepping Stones Museum for Children, explores energy in ways that will get you thinking about your own energy consumption, plus, learn what it is, where it comes from, how we use it, and why it’s so important to use it wisely.
Conservation Quest delivers important energy conservation messages through 20 hands-on activities that inspire visitors to make thoughtful choices about energy use to help protect the planet and promote healthy living. Highlights of the exhibit include stations that allow visitors to explore solar, wind, and hydropower; find ways to save with light bulbs, electricity, and recycling; and connect circuits to power up lights, alarms, and fans. The exhibit also provides the opportunity to discover the latest energy-saving inventions and learn about the future of energy.
