High school teen leaders bring teens together in the unique setting of the Delaware Museum of Natural History to engage in STEAM related topics delivered by local experts in the field. Each café begins with a pizza meet and greet with other teens followed by an informal presentation, a hands-on activity, and wrapping up with a questions and answers.
On February 7, discover the amazing collections on the Museum’s top floor with DMNH invertebrate paleontologist Alex Kittle, Collections Manager of Mollusks. While this area is usually off limits to the public, teens can explore our Collections and Research Division, home to some of the largest collections of birds, eggs, and mollusks in the country.
For grades 7-12. Free admission, pizza dinner is provided. Pre-registration is encouraged. Parent permission forms must be completed for all participants. Teen Science Cafe Release Form
