100 Birds: A Photographic Journey
Louis Mason, a University of Delaware senior, set a goal for himself in 2018: to hone his camera skills by photographing 100 different bird species in Delaware. Louis explored Delaware’s various native habitats including swamps, marshes, beaches, open fields, woods and ponds during his year-long photographic journey. He was inspired by National Geographic photographer Joel Sartore’s Photo Ark Project. Sartore hopes to photograph thousands of species of animals before they go extinct.
A digital display of Louis Mason’s 100 Birds: A Year-Long Journey is featured in the Investigation Lab through Labor Day.
